Applying bed liner to Jon boat

I've seen alot stated about how well Rhino/Dura liner works. I just recently purchased a 12' Jon that seeps from three very small holes. I plan on filling the holes with epxoy and then applying Dura liner to the entire bottom. My concern is this, does coating the boat cause more "hang ups" since it will not slide like aluminum.
