If you look on the lower unit you will see a drain plug and a vent plug. unscrew the lower drain plug first the unscrew the vent plug. after all oil is drained look at it and see if it looks like a lightish tan if so water is getting into the lower unit and must be resealed. If it looks like dark oil the refill from the bottom hole up until it comes out the top hole while the tube is still in lower hole screw in the top plug first then remove tube and quickly replace lower plug. You can get lower unit oil at any wal-mart or boat store. If you have any questions feel free to email.
