if its not scratched very deep you can used a polishing wheel it looks like a 8 inch wire brush for a drill but instead of wire it has cloth on it and use jewlers rough in stick form run the wheel on the stick then polish the boat it will shine like a new diamond just keep the wheel moving do not stop to polish one point it will burn the metal in that spot and you will never get it to shineyou can find this stuff in most good truck stops thats how the truckers get there tanks and wheels so shiny good luck
