Converting an existing tiller control 10hp to remote starting and shifting is somewhat expensive, and if the existing 10hp is relatively old, the parts may not be available. The steering shouldn't be a problem. Spike is right, your existing boat may not scoot to good with passenger weight forward. We have many 10hp limit lakes in my area of NJ, and I've seen some older 14 & 15ft runabouts successfully powered by 10hp tiller engines.
