look at your tag some boats have two ratings on them one is the person rating and the other is the person and gear rating if you only have one rating its the person and gear rating now get on the scale weight you all your gear and the wood to see if your over im not gonna tell you to overload your boat cause it can get a little tippy but i do it all the time i can fit 1200 lbs in a 750 lbs rated boat without a problem but some people say im not right in the head just remember to put all the heavy stuff on the floor keep the center of gravity low in the boat
