please slap me if im wrong but i beleave the 1654 does not reflect the age of the boat and i dont even think they had aluminum in 1654 but i beleave 16 would be how long it is and 54 would be how wide it is and i dont beleave you mentioned the age of the boat but the good news is if you cant find the part you can buy angel aluminum and bolt it on to the top rail leaving a foot or so lap over the old and so it dont look to bad you can do the same on the other side if you just want a back yard repair good luck p.s. use stainless steel bolts
