I'd like to redistribute the weight on my 12' semi-V 1989 Western. I'm planning to move the battery and portable gas tank to the bow when running. When I move the battery forward, I'd like to run about 10' of wire to a terminal block at the transom to hook up the Minn-Kota trolling motor and depth finder. I'd also like to charge the battery from the terminal block. Any idea on what gauge wire I should use? Any comment on running 10'-12' of gas hose from a portable 6 gal. tank?
