I've read on this board about Mother's mag/aluminum wheel polish, steel wool, vinegar, comet and green scratchpads among others. What's not really covered is how long it will look nice and shiny and what to put on the shiny aluminum to protect against oxidation. I was thinking of polishing an Arctic Sports C-12 once all the other work is done. Please post the methods that you used and the results, I will do the same.
