1956 johnson 10hp

i found a 1956 (confirmed) 10hp that has two things wrong.
1. After running for a while (10 mintes or more) it acts as if it is only running on one cylinder.
2. About the same time this started I noticed a rather large oil sheen appearing when stopped.

I want to get this thing back to good running condition. Are there good shop manals avaialble?
