Bill I guess I am at a total loss here when you say it won't crank in the water do you mean it will not start or it willnot turn over?? 2 completly different things. if it will not crank is the solenoid clicking? does the starter engage to flywheel but engine not turn over? What type and size is the battery? Can you physicaly turn over engine with flywheel? Let me Know will answer tomorrow Day off today many, many things to do Dean
