Mercury 5 HP - what year?

I recently purchased a 5 HP mercury and am not sure of the year. It is a 2 stroke, long shaft with a small integral fuel tank. It is made in Japan.
Serial #0D907791 with 394 stamped below that. I would like to establish the year so that I can find a shop manual for this motor. I am also curious as to who actually manufactured it.
Does anyone know?
