I am going to have toagree with Spike on this one I feel you have a bad compression guage. If the vale was bad it would bleed off if the vales was not there it would coe up to compression then bleed off imediatly. It takes a special toll to read leak down and a compression guage will not do it. Why only top cyl I have no Idea but would try another guage before worring about engine. And there is not a head gasket on this engine Bilnd hole jugs Dean
