I don`t know what ignition system you have but it sounds like one cylinder is cutting out.Could be as simple as a bad plug wire or even a bad plug.
Examine the plugs to see if you can determine which cylinder is missing.Then switch plugs to see if the problem follows.Examine the plug wires for problems, rubbing,corosion loose connections.You could maybe swap the coils around to see if the problem follows.
