You could have simply run into some junk in the
water(weeds,plastic bag some other junk).
Or it could be a spun hub most props have a rubber hub to absorb the stress if you hit something.These sometimes break down with age or wear and tear.A prop shop can check it and usually repair it.If the problem stops when you slow down and then resume speed it may have just been prop ventilation.
A 2 blade prop is generally considered the most efficient design.Though sometimes a 3 blade or
more is used for better hole shot and performance
under most conditions and may help with
ventilation.
If it is ventilating you could try trimming in one notch. It may solve it and give a better
hole shot as well.But it may lower the bow at speed.
