There's no significant difference between the '63 and '64 models and the '64 was the first year of 50:1 for OMCs. That said, you can probably run leaner than 24:1 without hurting the motor. Exactly where in between you want to go is up to you. If I'm using premium oil and good quaity gas I would probably run it 50:1. |
