Your lower unit is momentarily slipping out of gear. There is a clutch dog that sets between your forward and reverse gears. The clutch dog is probably worn and so is your forward gear. The cause of this is normally water in the lower unit, or old grease that has lost its viscosity.
Pull the bottom plug (straight screwdriver) and check the color of the grease.
Unfortunatly this is a VERY common problem with the older, smaller OMC outboards. They are not cheap to fix either.
