In the Very early 60's, sears motors began being made by McCulloch and had a very different low profile round look. Late in the 60's and early 70's Sears motors began being made by Eska. The Eska's were generally air cooled Clinton and Techumseh powered units.
I think only the late McCullochs and Eska's were ever branded Ted Williams. Sears motors have also been built by Johnson, Chrysler and Force and later by Mercury.

So there is some confusion to what you have there.
A model number will help.
