2hp Mariner , year? Mix?

I have just bought a Mariner 2 hp from a friend at work. He doesn't know the year. The Manufacturers Plate has several things on it. "2M" , I assume this is the HP rate? then "6A1" ? then the serial # is 094157, is the 94 the year? He told me it was a forward only, ( no Clutch ). He also said he thought it was air cooled but it's been a few years since he used it and couldn't remember for sure.

I assume the fuel mix would be 50:1 but want to make sure before running it for long.
