Those impellers are readily available and cheap. A failed impeller will render your motor useless, so I would go ahead and change it, particularly if you're unfamiliar with the motor's service history. Invest in a service manual for it. You can get them from a Merc dealer, discount marine places, iBoats.com, Amazon.com, West Marine, etc.
