I have a 9.9 Johnson that is driving me nuts! It will crank everytime with no more than three pulls and when hot, just about every time on one pull. Cranks fine, runs fine EXCEPT it won't run out. If you try to run it wide open, it bucks and surges badly. If you open the throttle very slowly, it will run up to full throttle and run fine about one time out of three. And it may be up on plain, running fine and full throttle when it decides to go back to the surging again and fall off to maybe half speed but with the throttle still wide open. |
