Your not making yourself clear.You say it only goes slow or fast no idle.I don`t want to seem argumentitive but isn`t slow idle speed?
These motors have an idle mixture screw you can adjust to smooth out the idle.Also there may be a idle speed screw to set the idle speed.
My old "abos" manual covers many brands under
30 hp.There are number of places to find manuals
try iboats.com,amazon.com,ebay,repairmanuals.com
and possibly the library.
