Since posting my message two nights ago, I have since started to work on the unit. Not only did I discover a cracked fuel line, but the fuel coupler was clogged by crystalized fuel residue which I managed to break free and fuel now flows through it. I am now concerned about other components in the fuel system, especially parts like the carburetor jets. I've removed the choke and fuel filter assembly, and am wondering what is the best solution for cleaning those parts. The Operation and Maintenance Guide recommends benzol for cleaning the fuel screen in the external tank. Is that product also good for internal components? Thank you for your response. |
