I just posted a message looking for a bronson 66 series.I used to work at the company that made these rods and reels about 30 years ago.It stopped production in about 1972-74 due to overseas competion.I fished with these combos for years,before I quit fishing.Just recently I have started back fishing and bought new equipment,and relized I still had a couple of these rod and reels stored back.I have since pulled them out and cleaned them up and they still work just fine.
The name of the company that made them was True Temper so sometimes you may run across the same type of reel with the true temper name on it.
